Autumn Term 2025

• Friday 22nd, August 2025: 

  10am – 4pm: All Form 1 Students 

  **  Please note – Boarding houses will not open until Sunday 24th at 6:30pm.  ** 

• Sunday 24th, August 2025: 

  Form 1 boarders’ induction from 6.30pm (Supper will be provided at 8pm)  

• Monday 25th, August 2025: 

  10am - 4pm: Form 1 Students (Day 2) 

  Boarding opens for all Form 2, 3, 5 & 6 boarding students from 2.30pm  

• Tuesday 26th, August 2025: 

  9am - 4pm: Form 1 Students 

  9am - 4 pm: Return to school for Forms 2,3,5 & 6.  

  Boarding open for Form 4 from 6.30pm.  

• Wednesday 27th, August 2025: 

  9am - 4pm: Form 4 (TY) return to school  

  9am - 4pm: Classes as per timetable for Forms 1,2,3,5 & 6   

• Friday 29th, August 2025: 

  Wellbeing Day for Form 1. Details TBC.  

  9am - 4pm: Classes as per timetable for Forms 1,2,3,5 & 6   

  * Monday 6th, October 2025: * 

  School Closure – Teacher Training Day 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students. 

• Midterm Closure:   

  Friday, 24th October 2025 (Bus to Dublin airport departs at 6am)  

• Boarding School Opens on Sunday, 2nd November 2025: 

  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm  

   School Resumes:  

  Classes begin at 9am on Monday, 3rd November 2025.  

  * Monday 10th, November 2025: * 

  School Closure - Teacher Training Day 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students. 

• Christmas Holidays: 

  Friday, 19th December 2025 

  (Bus to Dublin airport departs at 6am)  

    

Spring Term 2026

• Boarding School Opens on Sunday, 4th January 2026: 

  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm  

  School Resumes: 

  Monday, 5th January 2026: Classes begin at 9am  

  * St. Brigid’s Day: * 

  School is closed on Monday 2nd, February 2026 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students. 

•  Mid-term Closure:  

  Friday, 13th February 2026 Sunday, (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)  

• Boarding School Opens on Sunday, 22nd February 2026: 

  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm 

  * Monday 23rd, February 2026: * 

  School Closure – Teacher Training Day 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students. 

  School Resumes: 

  Classes begin at 9am on 24th February 2026. 

  * St. Patrick’s Day: * 

  School is closed on Tuesday 17th, March 2026 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students.  

• Easter Holidays: 

  Friday 27th March 2026 (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)  

  ** Please note that students in Form 6 may have oral or practical Leaving Certificate examinations during the first week of the Easter holidays. ** 

  The boarding house will remain open for Form 6, 5&7 day boarding students.  

Summer Term 2026

• Boarding School Opens on Sunday, 12th April 2026:  

  Bus collects overseas students from Dublin airport at 6pm)  

  School Resumes: 

  Monday, 13th April 2026: Classes begin at 9am  

  * May Bank Holiday: * 

  School is closed on Monday 4th, May 2026 

  The boarding house will remain open for all 7 day boarding students.  

• Summer Holidays: 

  School closes for the summer holidays on Friday, 29th May 2026. (Bus departs for Dublin airport at 6am)   

• ** Please note that students in Forms 3 & 6 will commence State Examinations on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026. Boarding houses will remain open according to student needs until the end of this exam period for Form 3 & 6 students**
